Terms of use

By using the Snipply website or app you agree to these terms. They are written to be short and readable.

Using Snipply

Snipply is free to use for personal and commercial work. You do not need an account. You may not use Snipply to break the law, to infringe other people's rights, or to attack, overload or interfere with the website.

Your content

Your photos, videos and projects stay yours. Snipply processes them on your device and does not claim any rights to them. You are responsible for having the right to use the content you edit, including photos of other people, music and fonts, and for how you use what you create.

Accuracy of sizes and rules

We work to keep the exam, passport and platform sizes on this website accurate and show when each was checked, but official rules change and differ between notices. Always confirm the requirements in your own notice or with the official authority before you submit an application. Snipply cannot guarantee that an authority will accept a photo or file.

No warranty

Snipply is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it working and free of errors, but we cannot promise it will always be available or that it will never lose data. Keep your own copies of important originals, and use Save backup to keep copies of projects you care about.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Snipply and its maker are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the website or app, including rejected applications, lost projects or lost files.

Third-party parts

Snipply uses open-licence fonts from Google Fonts, open AI models for background removal and speech recognition, and Google AdSense for ads on the website. Their own terms apply to them. See our privacy policy for how ads and cookies work on this website.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date below shows when they last changed. Continuing to use Snipply after a change means you accept the updated terms.
