Snipply privacy policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026Snipply does not collect any personal data itself. It has no accounts and no analytics.
Your videos and projects
Videos, photos, music, fonts, stickers and projects you use in Snipply stay on your device. They are never uploaded. Voiceovers you record with the microphone are saved only on your device. If you delete the app, your device removes its stored projects.
Auto captions
Auto captions run on your device. The first time you use them, Snipply downloads a speech-recognition model from Hugging Face (huggingface.co). Your audio is never sent anywhere.
Advertising (Android app)
The Android app shows ads served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, approximate location derived from your IP address, and information about how you interact with ads. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland you are asked for consent first, and you can change your choice at any time from "Ad privacy choices" in the app's help screen. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings. Google's use of this data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Advertising on this website
This website may show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised ads at adssettings.google.com, and learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first.
Sharing
Files you choose to save or share leave the app only through your device's share sheet, to the app or place you pick.
